DASSAULT UNVEIL FALCON 6X
Dassault released details on its newest business jet, the Falcon 6X, during a day-long technical briefing today. The latest model is a replacement for the 5X, a project canceled due to multiple delays in the development of its proposed Snecma Silvercrest engines.

GULFSTREAM G550 SELECTED TO LAUNCH AIR RESCUE SERVICES IN BEIJING
On the 14th of March 2017 Gulfstream Aerospace Corp announced that its Gulfstream G550 aircraft has been selected to launch state-of-the-art medevac services in Beijing. The Gulfstream aircraft will be outfitted with top-of-the-line medevac equipment in support of the Beijing Red Cross Emergency Medical Center.
BRAND NEW, RECORD BREAKING AIRCRAFT MODEL AVAILABLE FOR CHARTER IN EUROPE
A 2016 model Gulfstream G280 aircraft is available for charter right now in Europe. This record breaking aircraft model has recently racked up its 58th city-pair speed record on a recent flight in Africa. The record was approved by the U.S.National Aeronautic Association and sent to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale in Switzerland for recognition as a world record.
There are now several business jets offering true intercontinental range in excess of six thousand nautical miles. Currently the longest-range jet is Gulfstream’s G650ER, which can fly just over 7,500 nautical miles.
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. today announced the company’s flagship Gulfstream G650ER recently claimed two more city-pair records. The achievements highlight the aircraft’s superior performance and the company’s commitment to providing customers with high-speed travel options.
The G650ER took off from Ohio’s John Glenn Columbus International Airport and landed at Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport 14 hours and 35 minutes later, covering 6,750 nautical miles/12,501 kilometers at an average cruise speed of Mach 0.85.
Dassault Aviation’s new ultra-long range Falcon 8X is making its public Middle East debut here at MEBAA, leading a display of the company’s long-range, large-cabin jets. Following certification by the FAA and EASA in June, the 8X entered service in October, the French manufacturer (Stand A11) delivered the first 8X ordered by a Gulf customer last month..
GULFSTREAM TO SHOWCASE FOUR-LIVING-AREA G650ER at MEBAA 2016
Gulfstream Aerospace will showcase three aircraft in its product lineup in two weeks at the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation (MEBAA) show in Dubai, including the airframer’s four-living-area G650ER, which is making its MEBAA debut. The aircraft was first shown to the public earlier this month at NBAA 2016 in Orlando.
HONDAJET PRODUCTION TO REACH 80 ANNUALLY BY MARCH 2019
Honda Aircraft plans to ramp up production of the HA-420 HondaJet to 80 units per year by mid-2019, company president and CEO Michimasa Fujino told Japanese reporters visiting its plant in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Friday.
Dassault will deliver its first Russian Falcon 8X during 2017. The new Falcon tri-jet received US and European certifications earlier in 2016, and is expected to deliver to its first customers in the coming few weeks.
BOMBARDIER PREPPING GLOBAL 7000 FOR FLIGHT THIS YEAR
Bombardier is preparing for the first flight of its Global 7000 later this year as it pushes to bring the aircraft to market in the latter part of 2018, company president and CEO Alain Bellemare told analysts today during its release of the second quarter results.
Embraer’s Lineage 1000 and upgraded model 1000E is one of the biggest ultra large business jets available on the private jet charter market. The Lineage combines a long flight range and a highly-spacious cabin.
Airbus is exhibiting an ACJ319 at the ABACE show , where it will exemplify the larger and more modern corporate jets preferred by Chinese customers.
The ACJ319 on display features conference, dining and lounge areas at the front, plus two separate rooms at the rear and is certificated to transport 19 passengers – more than traditional business jets – allowing it to serve a wider range of business needs.
DAVID MACDONALD JOINS OXYGEN AVIATION TO DRIVE INTERNATIONAL SALES GROWTH
Oxygen Aviation, the international private jet charter provider, has announced the appointment of David Macdonald as Director of Sales. Macdonald will be based in the UK head office driving growth across Oxygen’s existing key markets of Russia / CIS, the Middle East, USA, and Europe. Plans for expansion into new key emerging markets will also come under his remit.

Cessna Aircraft Company debuted its new Cessna Citation Longitude business jet at NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Las Vegas.
The company also announced it plans to enter the large business jet category with the clean sheet, 4,500-nautical mile Citation Hemisphere. The Longitude and Hemisphere will join the Citation Latitude to complete a new, large-cabin, three-aircraft Citation family.
London Oxford Airport bucks the trend to achieve steady growth
London Oxford Airport retained its position as the sixth busiest airport for business aviation in mainland UK in 2015 and its OxfordJet FBO ranked fourth for aircraft throughput during the year, handling some 8,000 business aviation passengers.
